For Collection 2, we took preppy cues from the 1980s like polka dots and stripes and adapted them to the Meridian Suit. Men’s fashion during this period was linked to the power suit and we wanted to explore what these motifs would look like when decontextualized and presented on a different template: the Meridian Suit.

Perhaps it was the rediscovery of Tom Wolfe’s ‘Bonfire of the Vanities’; or maybe it’s the Sturm und Drang that characterizes current affairs that makes us yearn for a different time. Now, more than ever, we choose escapist fun and frivolity over gritty realism; and nothing says ‘jaunty’ quite like a spot print. As always, everything is made in London using the finest natural materials.

To accompany the collection, we also made a mixtape featuring some of our favorite 80s yacht rock.
